The National and Regional Fora have the job of telling the cross-departmental National Programme Board how well the Government’s Learning Disability Policy is working
Among the tasks that Centrevents performed for the National Forum were organising four two-day meeting per year, overseeing the nine regional coordinators, supporting the co-chairs of the Forum at Planning and Strategy meetings, pre Programme Board meetings and at other nationwide events that they attend, ensuring the Forum adhered to budgets and developing and maintaining the website as part of the Forum’s communication strategy
